Heroku Postgres is a managed PostgreSQL database on Heroku. Use this when an app already writes records there and those rows need to load into Salesforce on a schedule.
Load rows from a Heroku Postgres table into Salesforce. Insert, update, upsert, or delete Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and custom objects.
Create the connection with the database host, port, username, password, and database name. You may need to allow the Dataimporter IP addresses first. Check the values before you save.
On the job, select the table to extract and the Salesforce object to load into. Then map the columns you want.
On the Clean screen you can add an SQL filter so the job only pulls the rows you need. Put column names in double quotes and text values in single quotes. Set the mapping and cleaning rules once, then schedule the job.
